Ease the quietening of my mind, with the beating of my heart.
Give me the wisdom of a great oak tree, that grew tall and strong, because it grew slow and steady!
Open my heart to the joyful contemplation of the oneness of all creation.
Let me not be transfixed by the worrisome burdens of an overactive mind.
Pray that I may lay my troubles and concerns by the great oak tree.
So that I may bask in your glorious sunshine amid the cooling shade of the great oaks bark.
And by this act of freely surrendering I may be consoled and comforted by a loving heart that resides deep within my soul.

I've been on a path to awakening to my higher vibration since childhood. I've lived with anxiety and nervousness since a small boy not fitting comfortably into a confident role in many facets of my life. I failed the 11 plus exam to attain a place in grammar school at the translational age of 11. This scarred me and left me with a profound fear of failure that I'm working on shedding through my spiritual growth.
